Buoys seen as best solution

Despite the widespread use of yellow buoys in the island's calas, to mark bathing areas, there are still areas of conflict such as Pregonda (above). Some boatowners with shallow draught boats are invading the swimming zones. The problem worsens during July and August afternoons.
